It was vital to focus on the subject matter, in order to properly define the elements and establish the characteristics of dwarven architecture. 
Differentiating between various types of buildings was also one of the key points - in this case residential and industrial. 
It is a case-study extrapolated later on in production of the assets and kits.
Although more detailed, it was tremendous fun to do this concept.
